Ta-dah! I am finally entering into the realm of blogs. As a strong believer in print media and all things non-virtual, I am taking a very big step on this 28th day of August in the year 2008.
Those who know me are well aware that I dislike social networking sites and refuse to post my personal appointments on Google calendar. I scowl when a friend or family member posts a picture of me on their Facebook profile and scowl again if I have been "tagged." And no, my using e-mail does not trigger privacy concerns. [This is when my husband and brother-in-law would wave their fingers around and go "doot doot doo, doot doot doo- Nidhi World."]
I admit, my apprehensions towards Web 2.0 are ironic. One wouldn't guess that I am an intellectual property lawyer who for the past year has focused her practice on tech start-ups and digital media.
Alas, my blog debut is a special event and one inspired by many. To all of you who lifted me up into the blogosphere, this is for you- cheers!
