It's been like 5 years since I used "Blogger" - here goes.
I left off in like 2008 or 2009, after posting an impressive 3, yes 3, entries on my blog. Things have radically changed since then.
I am no longer a disgruntled former law firm associate. I am quite the opposite; very gruntled as a matter of fact and happy indeed.
I am still an attorney, but now I get to work for a health care system in Boston on matters related to charitable purposes and with really talented, and more importantly, very nice individuals!
I am still married, but now I get to actually spend time with my husband and I have the emotional bandwidth to listen to him when he speaks to me-- he is really interesting and funny!
I have two children. Sometimes I feel like I am their older cousin watching them until their real mother comes back home. I am anticipating that many of my posts going forward will be about my experience with them. People have asked me when I am going to start blogging about parenting. Apparently my stories are amusing, so I am going to try to share my anecdotes and reactions whenever I can. They also have asked me to post what I have done for my older son's birthday parties (don't judge, my younger one has yet to turn 1; I will throw him cool parties, too).
I am still curious as to why others would want to read what I write. I am not famous; nor am I brilliant. Let's see what happens. When I look at the viewing stats for this blog, the number could very well be "0".
Stay tuned for my next post...a rocket ship/solar system/planets/outer space theme birthday party!
